Diploma in Engineering (4 Years)

Welcome to the Civil Technology Department at Nobojibon Polytechnic Institute (NJPI), established in 2010. Under the guidance of our esteemed Head of Department, Monira Khatun, we have been at the forefront of delivering quality technical education in civil engineering. Our department is home to 465 students, guided by a dedicated team of three experienced faculty members.

Department of Computer Science and Technology

The Computer Science and Technology (CST) Department is one of the most promising departments at Nobojibon Polytechnic Institute (NJPI). Since its inception in 2010, the department has been committed to providing both theoretical and practical education to its students with dedication and sincerity. It is staffed by a team of devoted academics and professionals who are passionate about their field. The department boasts four well-equipped computer labs and workshops, offering students hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology.

Department of Garments and Textile Technology

The Department of Garments and Textile Technology at Nobojibon Polytechnic Institute has been thriving since its inception in 2012. With the later inclusion of Garment Design and Pattern Making Technology, this department has continued to grow, producing over 1000 Diploma graduates in Textile Engineering. It is headed by Md. Hasibur Rahman, who leads the department towards excellence in both academic and industry-oriented goals.

Department of Electrical Technology

The Electrical Engineering Department at Nobojibon Polytechnic Institute (NJPI) offers a comprehensive 4-year Diploma in Engineering in Electrical Technology. This program covers key areas like electromagnetics, electronics, and electricity, equipping students with the skills necessary for various industries. Under the leadership of Md. Habibullah Habib since August 2022, the department has steadily progressed with 2 dedicated teachers, 1 lab assistant, and 52 students. Graduates from this department have pursued further studies and international opportunities, including placements at DUET, and careers in countries like Japan and China.

Department of Mechanical Technology

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Nobojibon Polytechnic Institute (NJPI) plays a crucial role in advancing technological education in Bangladesh, particularly in the Satkhira district. Established in 2015, it is the only institution in the region offering Mechanical Engineering, a field often referred to as the “mother of all technologies.” As the demand for mechanical technology rises both nationally and globally, the department is committed to equipping students with the necessary skills to contribute to the country’s transformation into a smart Bangladesh.
